Abtech have completed the basement structure for an existing new build home in a prestigious private estate close to Kingston. Following demolition of the previous house, we installed a contiguous piled wall to 3 sides (hill side development) and installed a robust capping beam.
Excavation depths of over 5 meters for the nearly 4000 sq ft basement meant careful logistical planning for deliveries and spoil removal through private estate roads.
Drainage and sump units were installed prior to the reinforced concrete basement floor and retaining wall.
The works were completed ahead of schedule and budget allowing construction of the building above to proceed rapidly.
